Once again i'm back after another pause in my blog postings... it seems as the week progresses I get momentously busier and lose track of my blog :( But here I am again with another post-cheat day, Monday!! Here's today's SCD meals...

  • Brunch:
    • Eggs scrambled with Mushrooms, Olives, Zucchini, Red Peppers
    • Spinach, Onion & Garbanzo Bean Salad w/Balsamic Vinegar

    • Hot off the Grill!! 
      • Milanesa Steak with Grilled veggies: Poblano Pepper, Zucchini, Green Bell Pepper stuffed with Black beans + Avocado

    SCD Daily Food Log #21

    Hello again!! I've been soooo wrapped in up in things happening with my different businesses that I've completely neglected my blog - horrible, i know! But, I'm back - here's a quick update on where we are at and today's food log!

    Joe's at 187 lbs now - down 13 lbs since we started. I am at 102.5 lbs - Finally! Still working on reaching our ultimate goals but getting much closer! I am going to attest my last pound or so of weight loss to the Jamaican Blue Coffee from Organo Gold that has the Ganoderma Spore Powder in it - I've read about many others seeing accelerated weight loss as a result of drinking this coffee and I've definitely noticed it has curbed my appetite.     • Lime-water - juice of 1.5 limes with ice and filtered water + tsp of stevia
    • Lunch: 
      • BBQ'd Organic, Free-Range Chicken Breast
      • 1/2 Avocado
      • Grilled Onion
      • 1/4 Cucumber
      • Tomatillo Avocado Salsa
    • Dinner:
      • Baby Arugula & Spinach Salad with Cucumber, leftover Chicken and Balsamic Vinegar

    SCD Daily Food Log #18 + Updates

    So it's been about a week since I last posted....sooo sorry for the delay, however I had my parents and lil sis visiting so was busy enjoying my time with them ;) So last Wednesday to Sunday (during their stay) was an all time low on the SCD lol....we ended up turning that 5 day span into a "cheat week"! When they arrived we decided to celebrate my bday and Joe's once more and one thing lead to another lol...and how can you possibly show anyone a good time in Austin without taking them to all the fabulous eateries :) Anyways we are back on the SCD hard-core and may even forfeit a few cheat days to make up for our sins...we need to look great for our vacation to Hawaii in June, so we have one tough month ahead of us...due to our cheating we did not notice any major weight gain - however we did not measure ourselves... will do so next weekend though to see where we are at. Here's a few pix of some of the sinfully delightful treats we enjoyed this past week as well as today's food log!

    Cheat day #15 just flew past us - we definitely enjoyed every minute of it - i'm not going to do a recap of it this week. Instead I'm going to jump right back into my daily food log ;)
